AWS Config

CYDERES supports the ingestion of AWS Config logs via AWS S3 using AWS CloudTrail.

Configuration

  1. Create a new S3 bucket to store AWS Config Logs. Feel free to follow this AWS Guide. If you already have a S3 bucket setup you can use the existing bucket.
  2. Follow the AWS Config logging instructions to send your AWS Config logs to the S3 bucket created for AWS CloudTrail.
  3. Confirm AWS Config Logs are flowing into your S3 bucket.
  4. Follow the AWS S3 Bucket guide to create a IAM user for CYDERES that can access this S3 bucket.
  5. Provide the authentication information to CYDERES as directed by the AWS S3 Bucket Guide.
