Code42 File Events

Cyderes supports the ingestion of file events from Code42. Code42 provides a solution for insider risk detection and response. The File Events API provides logs that represent the creation, modification, deletion, and movement of files in your organization's working environment (both on endpoints and in supported cloud providers).

Requirements

An API client must be created in the Code42 console for Cyderes. The user creating the API client must have the Customer Cloud Admin role. Information on Creating an API client can be seen on the Code42 API Clients Page.

  • Cyderes collects file event logs from Code42's /v2/file-events API endpoint. More information on this endpoint can be found in the Code42 API File Events Documentation.
  • The API client must have Read Permissions selected for the File Events API.

Gather Information

Please send the following to Cyderes when setup is completed:

  • Client ID
  • Client Secret
  • API Base URL (or console domain if unsure)
